Observed on S Street NW, between 17th and 18th, Dupont Circle, D.C.:
The color we call “Purple” does not actually occur in nature … and even if it did, that flower is not purple, although I can see why you’d hesitate to call it “Lilac”. But it is spectacular; and a beautifully rendered photo. Thank you for sharing it.
