All the sloganeering in the world won’t fix this:

If Democrats want to run on the slogan of ‘Democrats Deliver’, then Democrats actually need to deliver. And deficit-fetishist Joe Manchin (with an assist from Manic Pixie Dream Senator Sinema) is getting in the way of that.

Also, we should note that this is a ‘swing’ issue–the supposed holy grail of moderates–not only does it depress Democratic turnout, but it shifts voters to the Republican Party. Obviously, Democrats should… blame the left.

It’s disheartening to think that white Christian supremacists might (continue to) take over the government because a Corrupt Haircut decided that deficits were more important than keeping Republicans out of power.
