Are Young Kids Doing Too Much Homework?
Yes? Of course things have changed since I was in school, many, many years ago but at most I probably did 15 or 20 minutes of homework a week when in grade school. This probably got racked up to 30 to 60 minutes in high school

I had more important things to do than make-work.

Given a decent school, I don’t see why one needs much homework. But then I had very good schools.

Is homework just another way to babysit students?
