A neat little feature of Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts (‘MFA’) are the crafted chairs that visitors can use. This will be important in a bit. Anyway, I recently went to the MFA (and that was the first time I was ever evacuated due to a fire alarm. But I digress) and stumbled across an empty room–rather than closing it off, the powers that be decided to feature a bench:
But this really is an exhibit. There’s a descriptive placard and everything:
This was weirder than the fire alarm by a long shot.
