I’m fortunate enough to own one of the Koerner originals from 1942, so I thought I would post this.
We used to form real coalitions when we conducted foreign policy. Sigh.

    The origins of the “enemy of our enemy is our friend” rationale in American foreign policy? The WWII coalition with Russia is an excellent example of the US turning a blind eye to some pretty heinous things in the spirit of marshaling military and political power.
