Regardless of what one thinks about Biden running for a second term (I’m pretty agnostic on the issue, largely because I have no control whatsoever over the outcome of who will be the candidate), I’m at a complete loss over how whining anonymously to the political press corps helps:

It can’t help the eventual Democratic nominee, and I can’t see how it helps hold House seats either. I think one reason the left has stuck with Biden (so far, and there are multiple reasons) is that they’re used to being behind the 8-ball all the time. This is nothing new. God forbid, these members have to return to their districts and actually fight–and if they’re unwilling to do this, then they should be the ones resigning. It’s absolutely clear that, if shit gets bad, we won’t be able to count on the Chickenshit CaucusSo fucking weak and gormless.
