It’s getting a little tiresome revisiting debates from years ago–in this case, the in vitro fertilization ‘debate.’ I’ve posted about it before, so I won’t rehash old posts, but what’s frustrating is the spectacle of ‘conflicted’ conservatives. The debate allows them to appear like high-minded philosophes: if we believe that life starts at conception, then blah blah blah.

For those of us who don’t believe that, this is an empty and sterile debate that distracts us from a religious minority attempting to force their religion on others. It’s so fucking exhausting and annoying.
