Homeless Residents Got One-Way Tickets Out of Town. Many Returned to the Streets.
A very long term project of mine is to try to determine if there is any truth to the tale that some European nations used the “One-Way Tickets” scheme to rid themselves of the expenses of maintaining insane asylums. A small “one time” cost of the tickets must have looked mighty attractive to years of expenses for even minimal care. The only thing I’ve learned so far is that a lot of people in the late years of the Nineteenth century believed the US had become a dumping ground. Since such a scheme is still in use more than a century later, I’ll admit to being a little suspicious.

Campus Free Speech, Under Threat From the Right
This is probably correct, but I didn’t see any mention of the rather extreme pressure exerted by some other actors with deep pockets and outsized influence.
Free speech for all on campus! Unless …

Russia carried out a ‘stunning’ breach of FBI communications system, escalating the spy game on U.S. soil
The emphasis in this article seems to be a lot more on the nation which carried out the spying than the fact the FBI was so flabby it was allowed to happen. My browser word search found “Russia” was mentioned 106 times.
Those fake spying cell towers in Washington DC? Ex-intel staffers claim they’re Israeli
The fake cell phone story has been barely covered – at least in the sites I visit.

It Is F*cking Insane That the United States Is Considering Bombing Another Country in the Middle East
    Yes, it is.

How Important Is The Drone Attack On The Saudi Oil Field?
Good! One of the bigger factors appears to be the discovery US short range air defense systems aren’t worth a damn. Will this knowledge be enough to deter an attack on Iran?

There are things going on here I cannot understand. I absolutely don’t trust Pelosi and worry she may be playing to lose. A paranoid person could deduce this is some new pressure to force Trump to do that “F*cking Insane” thing mentioned earlier. If the neocons have as their ace an actual transcript of the conversation rather than the summary which has been released, there might not be any paranoia after all.
IMO it’s just too early to say how this is going to play out. For the moment I’m assuming everybody is lying.
