    It was quite wide-spread. There are red-sky and orange-cloud photos from here in DC and Northern Virginia all the way up to Boston*. The shots from Fenway and Nationals stadiums in particular are striking.

    * The exception was a stretch of southern New Jersey where the skies were green and they were on a tornado watch.
