    Regarding the article about how and if biologists might understand a radio, I am not convinced by the claim that engineers would be more likely to do so. Yes, we have the history of engineers understanding the physical world better than natural philosophers before the scientific revolution. But in the absence of the understanding of modern biological science, it is far from clear that engineers would have clue, either. Living creatures are far more complex than buildings and ships.
