    The Nation article leaves the impression that the two Muslim players were Palestinians. In fact, they are from Chechnya. Certainly, the prejudice shown by the fans toward Muslims is unacceptable but one has to wonder about the owners of this team going all the way to Chechnya to recruit players. This would be far more serious if the players in question were Israeli Arabs, or Palestinians from the West Bank for that matter.
