Why I Support Elizabeth Warren

I don’t agree with her on all issues–she’s too concerned about deficits for my taste (although, I’ll admit, a political campaign probably isn’t the place you want to change that ‘frame’). But here’s why I support her–this is what she says in one of her campaign ads:

We’ve got bridges and roads in need of repair and thousands of people in need of work. Why aren’t we rebuilding America? Our competitors are putting people to work, building a future. China invests 9% of its GDP in infrastructure. America? We’re at just 2.4%. We can do better. We can build a foundation for a strong new economy and get people in MA to work right now. I’m Elizabeth Warren and I approve this message. Let’s go to work.

You might have read something similar around these parts once or twice. No one else is talking about work and rebuilding: Warren is.

If you can afford it, you might want to reward this behavior. You know Wall Street is going to reward her opponent, Scott Brown, for carrying their water for him.
