What ScienceBlogs really needs to do is to replace “charset=iso-8859-1” with “charset=UTF-8”. 8859-1 is just silly.

Isn’t gut yuntif redundant? “Gut” is Yiddish for good, and “yuntif” is from the Hebrew “yom tov” meaning good or special day. Then again, I’ve been whining about Gondwanaland (land of the land of the Gonds) for years.

Oh yeah, Happy New Year and all that.
