O.K., I’m as sciencey as the next guy, but there’s no way I’m gonna click on a link that promotes that kind of nonsense. Please find some research that recommends 10 hours of sleep, minimum.

The sleep business generally ignores variation between people’s need for sleep. This makes for stupid conclusions.

The morality tied up with number of hours of sleep that so often gets tied up with it also makes for stupid. And lying (which I was always amused by with my former business partner).

I had a boss at a machine shop I worked at in high school that claimed he only need 3 hours of sleep a night. He also took a 3 hour nap in his office after lunch.
