How Could it happen? This reminds me recent discussion on Ars Technica about Boeing’s Starliner craft. How could Boeing have messed up this badly. One person pointed to a comment by a previous Boeing CEO (Stonecypher?) who said in effect, “I found an engineering company and turned it into a business.” And the business he’s so proud of can not engineer it’s way out of a paper bag anymore.
