Well, I’m off by one day. Some regular readers might remember that for two years straight, over on Xitter, I posted daily D.C. COVID statistics, such as how many people were infected and so on. I began March 10, 2020:

March 26, 2020, D.C. had its first deaths:

By April 10, 2020, the death toll, for a city of roughly 700,000 people was getting bad, and increasing daily.

From April 10, 2020, it was really grim for the next couple of months. For many Americans, it was the first time they had to live as if they had a high (or moderate)-maintenance chronic health condition–and that, for several reasons, completely freaked them out. It wasn’t a good time, and it was made worse by what was certainly the worst possible response by Trump et alia to the crisis.

Drink Bleach and stick lightbulb up yer butt!
Tomorrow it’s 4 years ago to the day that we both got sent home from work. Wife went back last week. I am still remote.
