I don’t live in the USA but it sounded like Obamacare sucks. OTOH it seemed mainly due to the GOP did their best to sabotage it.

I live in a Canadian province with single payer and no deductible for basic services. Yesterday I took a bad fall on the ice, hit my head and an ambulance was called. Got to the hospital got some staples, a couple of pills, a sandwich and, rested on a bed for a couple of hours. Because I’d bled on my shirt they tossed in a clean-donated shirt. to wear to get home

Total so far, $0.00 to me at the time—my taxes have been helping pay for this for years. If I need some painkillers today, I’ll have to buy them myself. Drugs in the hospital are covered but not ones from a pharmacy and I don’t have a private drug plan.

It did cost me $7.00 to get a taxi home as the weather was very bad and I did not a friend to try driving over.

    Yes, I’d say Obamacare sucks

It is worth noting that the golden age of airlines was when they were regulated.
