    While I agree most company perks are dumb, the one I find to be a necessity is free coffee. We have Keurig and Espresso pod machines at work and I would be much less productive without them (yes, I do realize I need to cut down). As a grad student, I carried a thermos of coffee to work with me to save money – free coffee is actually a very nice perk for the caffeine-addicted and budget conscious.
