    The Budowsky column circulated on the Democratic Town Committee listserv last night. My comment:
    “Left unanswered by the author: So if Sanders is doing all these great things for the Democratic party – inspiring the base, drawing in new voters, advocating for core Democratic principles, motivating Clinton to adopt “progressive positions that are both right and popular” – then why is he not the best candidate for the nomination?”
    The response – maybe tongue-in-cheek, maybe not – “Too cranky, and bad hair.” Sadly, I believe that’s the actual reason many D’s prefer Clinton.
