    Why this distrust of climate science? It is a relatively new phenomenon. During the Bush I administration didn’t people in the US generally believe in global warming, regardless of political viewpoint?

    I suppose the answer is propaganda, and effective propaganda, at that. Maybe there is a good study there, if one hasn’t already been done.
