I tend bar/wait tables/drive the beer cart at a local golf course. I’d be thrilled beyond belief to have dependable, steady income. But then they’d just drop us to straight minimum wage, and my pay would be next to useless again. Given how my workplace treated the backdating of insurance for the ACA (limiting the Food and Bev employees to 120 hrs/month), I can only be cynical about it. And every other restaurant out there. They’re all the same, and I’ve worked in enough of them.
