To say that this sort of income inequality is corrosive would be an understatement. It’s one thing to travel first class on the same plane, but someone who gets a $1,250 haircut isn’t even living in the same reality as the rest of us.
And the congregation responds: This is yet another reason why we can’t have nice things.
