Anybody Know What These Are?

These boxes with footprints are scattered at seemingly random places around Park Street Station. Hopefully, they’re not going to install those obnoxious airport body scanners.
Inquiring minds want to know:

    Transporter terminals. Or Digital Conveyer pickup locations. I wouldn’t stand on the footprints if I were you.
