Earlier this week, I posted some pictures of flowers and snow from this weekend. I’m becoming increasingly convinced that, outside of catci, roses are the toughest plants going, since they all seem to have survived. Observed on Marlborough Street, Back Bay, Boston:
Don’t know about you, but I don’t associate snow and Christmas bunting with roses:

To be fair, after living in Mass for some years, I don’t associate snow with Boston, either. Nasty, wet slop, sure, but not anything I would call “snow”. It does seem that roses (at least some roses) are pretty darned hardy beasts, though.
