Welcome and Programming Note

It seems this post about pox parties has drawn a lot of new people to the blog, including some new registrants. I’m usually a bit more involved in comments, as well as emailing people (I have always received a lot of emails relative to comments. Not sure why), but since the beginning of October I’ve had some health issues. Most of the time it’s very mildly annoying, although there are/have been three day surgeries involved, and sometimes things are uncomfortable (well, there was a week of excruciating pain, but that’s behind me).

There shouldn’t be any long-term complications, and hopefully it will all be over after Thanksgiving, but, for obvious reasons, including trying to keep my day job somewhat on track, I’m not giving the blog the attention I usually do. It was Jesus’ General’s twitter feed (patriotboy.blogspot.com, JC_Christian, “An 11 on the manly scale of absolute gender.”) that led me here.

And then you had the ducks at the top, and the rest was pretty good, so now you’re in my RSS feed.

But my own blog is utterly random and sparsely maintained, and I have no baseline of commenter interactions to miss, so I have no complaints.

I didn’t realize you were ill. I’ll offer my best wishes here. Let’s hope the worst is behind you.

Also, I really enjoy your blog. You always provide food for thought. My glorified ganglion thanks you.
