Observed on Q, between 15th and 16th, Northwest D.C.:
Stars do a much better job of keeping old buildings from collapsing.
Yeah that’s a whole lot of stars. It wouldn’t be high on my list of places to be during an earthquake.
That’s a lot more than I’ve ever seen on a single building. I wonder whether they (and the rods which I believe they attach) needed to be added after an adjoining building was removed.
