The Perception of Time in the Trump Era

One of the most annoying things about having a narcissist in your life–and as long as we have Trump running for office, we all have a narcissist in our lives–is they screw up how you perceive events, whether you like it or not. For me, one of the (many) miserable things about the Trump era (2015 to current) is that my perception of time is really skewed. For example, ‘Barbenheimer” was actually a year ago, but it feels like only a few months ago. At the same time, it seems like the last month has been a year.

We never really did get our normalcy after 2020, in no small part because too many professional Democrats didn’t realize they needed to put a stake through Trump’s heart (figuratively, not literally, calm down…), so that asshole is back.

Anyway, if Trump loses, we don’t have to worry about that asshole ever again, so let’s just go out and beat him.
