The quiet death of “Bernie hasn’t been vetted” (I’m a Warren supporter, but Sanders is the more electable candidate)
I’m presently leaning towards Sanders. The “vetting” business is just another DNC “talking point” against him. Both he and Warren would beat Trump like a drum. The other day I bookmarked a new author, and he has his own point of view about which of them is best.
The Prospect of an Elizabeth Warren Nomination Should Be Very Worrying
I skimmed that piece, and concluded that for the things which matter to me the guy is nitpicking. I’d rate Sanders as approximately as “liberal” as Eisenhower, and Warren about the same. Warren is too much a neocon to my taste, but then Sanders ought to be ashamed of his F-35 cheerleading. I’ll vote for either one, but definitely prefer Sanders. At least for now.

Brett Kavanaugh Fit In With the Privileged Kids. She Did Not.
A quick search found Warren is OK with correcting the horrible Supreme Court mess. This surprised me, for I figured she was too conservative. McConnell stealing that Obama seat still enrages me. There may have been no way to stop it, but the Democrats could have made some serious noise about it. I remember calling the DC office of my POS Joe Donnelly with a suggestion: If nothing else could be done, all the Democratic Senators could sit out the vote. Just refuse to participate in this major Constitutional crime. That’s the way it would appear in the history books forever – an eternal Scarlet Letter for the thieving pimp McConnell. What did Donnelly do? The SOB put my suggestion in the round file and voted for Gorsuch!

Why Is Tulsi Gabbard Paying This Obscure Consultant Big Bucks?
Back when I as supporting Gabbard I had no idea she was any kind of religious cultist. Pure guesswork now, but this could be as simple as Gabbard concluding her Presidential campaign is effectively over, and she is (legally) laundering the money to her religious group.

They were once America’s cruelest, richest slave traders. Why does no one know their names?
I have a notion why they’re so unknown. The South controlled the US government before the Civil War. After that conflict their gifted and talented propagandists re-wrote history. It was done so well and for so very long that only in recent decades have scholars begun to do the research which unveiled ugly truths like this. During one debate leading up to the civil war a famous politician of the day literally bragged to a group of his peers about his personal success in breeding slaves for the marketplace. Because a phonographer was present and the meeting was an important one that record remains in existence. Even today there are many people who mourn the demise of the Confederate (Slave) States of America.

    Normal Already Failed
The DNC is going to use its Superdelegates to ram this old man down our throats if they can prop him up till convention time. Still another reason for verifiable paper ballots – those electronic voting machines will work just fine in their quest to put Biden at the top of the Dem ticket. If he wins, Biden, his round-the-clock nurses, and political handlers move into the White House. And if he happens to lose the election, they know their Donors prefer Trump to Sanders anyhow. Win/Win!

How Does Antarctica’s Only Native Insect Survive Extreme Cold?
Cold will be the least of this critter’s problems if an invasive midge manages to make it to Antarctica. Eretmoptera murphyi is only 600km away, and all it takes is one careless or evil human….

The climate crisis is about to make allergy season miserable
Lies! All lies. I have that on the authority of a genuine Expert. Mike Adams is a Health Ranger, and at his website is this:

CO2 is a vital nutrient for food crops
As it turns out, CO2 is desperately needed by food crops, and right now there is a severe shortage of CO2 on the planet compared to what would be optimum for plants. Greenhouse operators are actually buying carbon dioxide and injecting it into their greenhouses in order to maximize plant growth.

Mike the Health Ranger assures us that if we work really hard and get CO2 up to 1000 ppm, we’ll have finally arrived at Plant Utopia. How is it possible to doubt an Expert with a BA in SCIENCE? I’d love to link, but Mike the Health Ranger is already in the 99.9 IQ Percentile. I’m afraid I might be held liable if that number went to 99.9999 and his head exploded.

Carcinogens Have Infiltrated the Generic Drug Supply in the U.S.
In the unlikely even Trump sees this headline, I can imagine him demanding whoever released the information to be tracked down and fired.
