    Suggestion: The WaPo headline of the article about dems being responsible for shutdowns was highly misleading. Don’t reward bad journalism by spreading it around.

    Well, I loved reading Faris’ rant about Trump in The Week. Thanks for posting that. How cathartic, and it’s all true. Scandalous, terrible, the long-term consequences, etc. And a silver lining at the end: liberals appreciate our fundamental institutions more. Tradition, the law, checks and balances, free press, Madison, basics of democracy, voting rights, uh huh – not your usual liberal stuff, evidently, but now it is.

    Uh huh. I’m just not convinced the piece means anything, beyond the sheer embittered hyper-angry rant part..
