    Pedestrians have the right of way. Full stop.

    I don’t care if that guy you hit was picking his nose while talking on the phone, blindfolded with his back to traffic. If you can not control your car, that piece of heavy machinery you are driving, well enough to avoid ubiquitous hazards then you have no business being on the road. Off to jail with you, for pedestrians deserve the full protection of the the law.
