Ginkgo Leaves

The fruits stink to high heaven and are a sticky, disgusting mess, but the leaves are very pretty. Observed on Olive St. NW, between 29th and 30th, Georgetown, D.C.:

    I recall that stench all to well from living in Philly for a decade. No, Phiilly doesn’t always stink. Those are beautiful trees, but the smell of the rotting fruit inspired me to call it the “Dog Barf Tree”.
