Again, as I’ve been saying since 2017, Trump isn’t just a self-absorbed asshole, his untreated narcissism means he is delusional–and there is no one to force him to accommodate reality. This isn’t new, but this episode is really bad, and will do long-term damage to the U.S. as well as other countries.
I didn’t expect fascism to be this stupid.

Besides narcissim, elsewhere I read the argument that Trump has frontaltemporal dementia. This leads to loss of impulse control, so another cause of the current chaos.
Frankly, I prefer incompetent Fascism to competently-run Fascism. At least more people can see it.
