    Good riddance….

*** McConnell Lashes Out at ‘Robo-Squirrel’ on Senate Floor ***

So the chinless wonder is still a lying POS. Not exactly a surprise.

“JS is a Doctor of Juridical Science candidate at the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto, a
Canadian Institutes of Health Research Vanier Canada Graduate Scholar, and a Canadian
Institutes of Health Research Health Law, Ethics and Policy Fellow. His dissertation is
examining the use of private law as a tool in obesity prevention, specifically tort litigation for
    caloric overconsumption.”

I’m going to concede that Jacob Shelley is a Profile In Courage for discouraging notions that obesity might have been caused by gay marriage or too many dogs running loose without their collars. And as a good lawyer he plans to use “private law as a tool in obesity prevention, specifically tort litigation for caloric overconsumption.”

I would have been interested to know which of the Evildoers With Money he plans to sue, and why, but never could find where he disclosed that.

But being serious for a moment, a good research project would be to make a graph of US weight trends vs time, then look for other things happening in the nation which might compare well with that plot. How would the growth of the fast food industry look superimposed on the obesity graph? The increasing use of flavor enhancers to make those fast foods darned near addictive? The trends with growth hormones used by the livestock feeders? The increasing use of fructose? Try everything that comes to mind and see what sticks. It could well be several such curves which combine to form a ‘perfect storm’.
