This week, the Davos World Economic Forum, which is a gathering of powerful and famous assholes along with a few decent people who are trying to convince said assholes to occasionally do the right thing, convened. What was noticeable were the COVID precautions. Every attendee and worker had to take a PCR test upon arrival. If you didn’t take a test, the chip in your ID badge was deactivated. If you tested positive for COVID the badge was deactivated. They also cranked up the ventilation and had lots of portable air filters everywhere. In addition, if you felt at all unwell or had possible COVID symptoms, attendees were encouraged to test (and provided rapid antigen tests).

I thought the pandemic was over!

Now if they would only do this for their workers.
