No, Hillary is how we got Trump. I cannot imagine Trump defeating any other US politician in 2016.

This review suggests readers may discover an above-average book, Hopefully my library will acquire a copy.

Herd Immunity: Can the social contract be protected from a measles outbreak?
    Nice history lesson.

By 1777, George Washington was inoculating his troops.

My history books say the Brits were playing with biowar even then, and Washington had no choice at all.

Much better than I expected from a Financial site. The author included a few of Big Pharma’s lies, but even those weren’t given much respect.

Moron is just too kind a word for Trump. But we always have to keep in mind the Big Brass Democrats prefer him to Sanders, and maybe even Warren.

Trump is disgusting. Is Pelosi (and his other enablers) any better?

Why This Scientist Keeps Receiving Packages of Serial Killers’ Hair

It is also unclear how reliable the technique is. If it fails with a given hair, it wouldn’t point to the wrong person — it wouldn’t hit to anyone, Dr. Green and Dr. Bustamante both said. But a larger study examining success rates is still underway.

After all the earlier hype, we learn towards the end of the article they haven’t even done a proper study of reliability. Nor has the scientist published in a Journal. I’m curious why his tests cost “several thousand dollars” for each hair, yet firms on the internet advertise hair-based paternity tests for under a hundred bucks.

I don’t get it. If there is enough power to tear apart space and time, how are the matter particles in the plasma supposed to survive? Definitely over my head.

Mucoidy, a general mechanism for maintaining lytic phage in populations of bacteria
The introduction (the only part I understood) tells why this research is of interest. Phage therapy may become an alternative to antibiotics, and if that is to happen we need to understand how the little suckers operate. What makes them tick.

  2. David J. Littleboy says:

Hilary was fine and would have been a great president. The NYT is why we got Trump. (Trump put on really great shows for the rural, white, fairly affluent deplorables, who loved them and got off their butts and voted.) But the NYT’s Clinton Derangement Syndrome was the problem. All they could talk about was emails. And print M. Dowd hit piece after hit piece. It was really stupid.)
