Big Tech Meets Its Pecora Commission: Why Google’s Toughest Opponent Is Now Congress
It’s a puzzle to me why a notoriously lazy and corrupt Congress would suddenly go after Google. Possibly they’re just going through the motions – a Chinese Fire Drill for the peasants as election-time entertainment and diversion. When I first got on the internet I considered Google to be a wonder. Since then their search results have become increasingly worthless. A person has to work very hard these days to research a topic if Google has decided to deep-six it.
Farewell, My Cokie
This woman seems to have been ‘born on third base’, married well, and did rather good early work as a reporter. In later years she went from “reporting” to “punditing”, and veered distinctly towards the right. While looking her up I learned Michelle Malkin trashed her on the day of her death. If scum like Malkin are on your case, your redeeming features are likely to far outnumber your faults.
Anti-Choicers Are Suggesting People Continue Pregnancies That Could Kill Them
The low-level ‘anti-choicers’ are devout rubes. Suckers! The folks who peddle the crap those suckers are monsters.
On a side note I just dug out a little 69 page booklet I found a few years ago. This is the sort of thing the holier-than-thou sheeple will probably never see.

All-American corruption.
Another School Leadership Disaster: Private Companies Work an Insider Game to Reap Lucrative Contracts
Articles like this I tend to skim quickly, for the longer I dwell on them the madder I get. The corruption levels in the US continue to grow and hardly anything is being done about stopping the crimes.
Republicans Have Been Winning On Judges For Decades. Democrats Have Barely Talked About It.
My own conspiracy theory about this is that Biden’s view is typical of High Level Democrats on the issue – his breed doesn’t have a problem with an extreme-right Supreme Court.
Dangerous new hot zones are spreading around the world
The world is dying, and the carnage won’t always be in far-away and out-of-sight places. In ’Hottest City’ link is the tale of a young Pakistani man who understands the reality of Global Warming far better than the smug little p***ks you see all the time on the internet.
EEE is untreatable and can be deadly. So why is there little prospect for a vaccine?
The answer comes down to the Benjamins. Big Pharma won’t move with the prospect of getting truckloads of them, and it’s just plain evil for government to do anything for its citizens without using Big Something as a middleman.
Ash tree species likely will survive emerald ash borer beetles, but just barely
In my yard is a small Ash seedling. There is an outside chance it’ll survive – for the simple reason there are no longer any large trees anywhere in the region. Not all the dead ashes have been cut out – as I drive down county roads I see miles of dead ones in distant fence rows nobody has bothered to clear out. But hey, all those smug and arrogant little p***ks on the internet assure me Climate Change isn’t real, so those hundreds of leafless trees in mid-summer must have been something else. And I couldn’t possibly have spent some really substantial money removing monster dead ash trees from my yard. Seriously, I could have bought a decent used car (or 3-4 appliances) for what the largest one cost to take down.
