Saturday, as Bernie Sanders’ massive victory in the Washington caucuses became apparently, this trundled across the transom:

The last bit is important: it’s clear that Washington Democrats are much farther to the left than their largely New Democrat/DLC representation. There is clearly political space to the left, especially on economic issues, for someone who wants to primary local and state Democrats from the left.

To this Dirty Fucking Hippie, that’s good news–and long overdue.
