    Sorry Mike, but this is completely backwards. If you read your Emily Post, you will find that weddings are traditionally arranged by the parents and in the style of their usual entertainment – if a bit more so, because it’s an extra special occasion. The problem is that the brides are demanding increasingly splashy extravaganzas and the parents are willing to go into hock for it.
