    george mason university is infamous for its koch-brothers-funded libertarian think tanks and sourcewatch lists as an anti-liberal front group:

    i too wish the media were more scientifically and mathematically and statistically literate, but my knee-jerk reaction is to distrust ANYTHING that comes out of gmu unless it’s been independently corroborated by multiple truly trustworthy sources.
