More From the Highly Successful Republican Jewish Outreach Program: The Santorum Edition

Can you figure out what might possibly be wrong with this Hanukah card from the Santorum campaign? (aka “Team Santorum”–which is funny on so many different levels. But I digress):

If you missed it, in the upper left hand corner is the following verse:

I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.

It’s from John 8:12. That’s right–the New Testament. And it’s about how everyone must accept Jesus to be saved.

Stupid or evil? I say, why choose?

This dolt might actually be president. This is yet another reason why we can’t have nice things.

  1. I’m calling Poe on Santorum. Actually, I think I can safely call Poe on most of the GOP.

Uh…that’s John 8:12, not 3:16. Whereby you demonstrate as much ignorance of Christianity as you accuse Santorum of showing towards Judaism.

    Anon,
    not. even. close.

It takes a lot to flabber my gast. But this has done it.

And as if the original weren’t enough offence, along comes Anon to compound it.
