“Post-racial” just means “after we all agreed not to talk about race anymore”.
“Post-feminist” means something similar.

    This reminds me of the fad a few years ago of gay guys calling themselves “post-gay”, which basically meant, I’m still gonna have sex with guys and live with my boyfriend, but I’m gonna pretend like I’m everyone else and try to act like everyone else so no one notices because it’s much cooler to not be gay.
    postmodernism basically ruined the post prefix for good.
