ABC News just reported that a study has indicated that the arthritis pain medicine Celebrex, like Vioxx, increases the risk of heart disease. Leaving aside how these drugs got past the FDA review process, are there any studies as to whether these high-priced prescription drugs are more effective than acetominophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin)?
